HairGauge access is billed annually. When an existing clinic moves to another level during its annual term, the system should apply the relevant difference fairly to the remaining part of that annual period rather than charging for time that has already passed.
1
Confirm the clinic’s current annual level.
2
Calculate the difference between the current and requested levels.
3
Apply that difference to the remaining annual period using the existing approved billing logic.
The amount shown on this public page is the full annual amount. A clinic-specific amount may differ where an upgrade or downgrade is calculated during an existing annual term. The existing HQ and Manager billing service remains the source of truth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers before your clinic chooses a level.
Is Starter Clinic free?+
Starter Clinic is a free trial level for clinics beginning with HairGauge. It supports up to five active recovering clients and is intended as a simple way to experience the structured client journey.
What counts toward clinic capacity?+
Capacity is based on active recovering clients. A client who completes the recovery journey and is archived no longer occupies an active recovery slot.
What happens when we reach our capacity?+
The clinic should request a higher access level before adding more active recovering clients. Existing client records should remain available according to the platform's access and retention rules.
How are upgrades calculated during the year?+
HairGauge access runs on an annual term. Where an existing clinic upgrades during that term, the applicable difference should be adjusted fairly for the remaining annual period using the approved billing logic.
How are downgrades handled?+
A downgrade is reviewed against the clinic's active recovery usage and annual term. The applicable adjustment should follow the same fair annual approach, while ensuring the requested level can support the clinic's current active capacity.
Is Professional Clinic the recommended level?+
Professional Clinic is the most popular choice for established clinics with active aftercare teams. It supports up to 120 active recovering clients and provides room for structured follow-up without immediately moving to high-volume capacity.
Does payment automatically guarantee certification?+
No. Annual fees provide access to the relevant HairGauge platform level. Certification recognition, verification status, validity, renewal, suspension, and revocation remain managed through HairGauge HQ and applicable HairGauge criteria.
What is included with Enterprise Network?+
Enterprise Network is intended for multi-branch clinics and clinic groups. Capacity, rollout, connected installations, reporting structure, and implementation requirements are assessed for the organisation.
Can a clinic request a demo before choosing?+
Yes. A clinic may request a demonstration before submitting an access-level request.
Does HairGauge centrally store clinic client records?+
HairGauge provides platform structure, verification, certification, and connected reporting. Each clinic keeps control of its client records inside its own clinic installation.
